At Shaggy Chic Goldendoodles, we are committed to raising healthy, well-bred puppies and ensuring they transition into their forever homes with the best possible start. Our comprehensive health guarantee offers peace of mind, covering heart conditions, genetic diseases, congenital defects, and hip dysplasia.

The puppy is guaranteed to be free from life-threatening heart conditions. They undergo a vet check at 7-8 weeks old to assess heart health, and a second wellness check is required within 30 days of pickup.

The puppy is guaranteed to be free from testable genetic diseases, as the parents undergo a full genetic health panel that includes tests for conditions like PRA-PRCD, MDR1, DM, Von Willebrand Disease, and others.

The puppy is guaranteed to be free from any life-threatening congenital defects. This is confirmed by the vet at 7-8 weeks old, and a health certificate is provided.

The puppy is guaranteed to be free from symptomatic genetic hip dysplasia, though environmental causes are excluded. If hip dysplasia is suspected, x-rays verified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) are required by the time the puppy reaches 25 months. The guarantee doesn’t cover cases caused by environmental factors like injury or poor nutrition.

Please note that the seller does not guarantee conditions caused by stress, environmental changes, or factors outside our control once the puppy leaves our care. As such, our health guarantee does not cover issues such as hypoglycemia, parasites, or any viral or bacterial infections that may arise after the puppy leaves our home. This includes, but is not limited to, Parvovirus, Coccidiosis, Distemper, Giardia, or Coronavirus—highly contagious diseases or parasites that can be contracted immediately upon leaving our property. To help ensure your puppy’s well-being, we strongly recommend bringing your puppy directly to your home and limiting exposure to outside environments until they have completed their vaccination series. During this time, only take your puppy for short car rides or visits to the veterinarian for vaccine updates. Once your puppy has received all necessary vaccinations, you may then take them for walks, playdates, and outings to parks or beaches.
